According to information from Thanh Hoa Hydrometeorological Station, due to the influence of cold air, low pressure trough combined with high-altitude wind convergence, from the evening of June 4 to June 5 in Thanh Hoa province there will be moderate rain, some places will have heavy to very heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms (in thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind).

Rainfall is likely to reach 30 - 70mm, in mountainous areas over 100mm. Warning in the coming hours in the districts of Muong Lat, Quan Son, Quan Hoa, Lang Chanh, Thuong Xuan, Nhu Xuan, Ngoc Lac, Tho Xuan, Ba Thuoc, Cam Thuy, Thach Thanh, Trieu Son... there will be showers and thunderstorms, which may then spread to neighboring areas.

Beware of the risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas; heavy rain in a short period of time causing flooding in urban areas. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
