At the same time, Mau Son peak had a temperature of 0.5 degrees Celsius, the temperature here has increased after a series of cold days below 0 degrees Celsius.
The meteorological agency said that the widespread cold spell in the North and Thanh Hoa is likely to last until around January 29; the severe cold spell in Nghe An and Ha Tinh will last until January 28. During this widespread cold spell, snow and ice are likely to occur in mountainous areas.
