Space reported that the super blue moon will be at its fullest at 9:30 p.m. on August 30 (Eastern US time), around 8:35 a.m. on August 31 (Vietnam time). This is not a favorable time to watch the super moon, so Vietnamese astronomy lovers can only observe the moon at its fullest state tonight, August 30, and the night of August 31 (Vietnam time).
The moment when the super full moon reaches its maximum is quite short and cannot be observed with the naked eye.

A blue moon is a term used to describe a second full moon in the same month of August, regardless of the color of the moon. The previous full moon occurred on August 1, and that was also a supermoon. The moon will be on the opposite side of the Earth from the sun and will be fully illuminated.
This is the second of three supermoons in 2023. During this supermoon, the Moon will reach its closest point to Earth in its orbit, about 357,181 km away. The Moon will appear 14% larger and about 30% brighter than a normal full Moon.
If conditions are favorable, astronomy enthusiasts can observe the Super Blue Moon with the naked eye without using astronomical equipment. However, if the sky is too cloudy or dusty, monitoring will be limited.
According to the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), it will not be until 2037 that astronomy lovers will be able to witness the next "Blue Moon" of the Moon.
Supermoons are not uncommon, occurring on average three to four times a year. However, blue moons are less common, with only one in every 33 supermoons meeting the criteria.
Although it's called a Blue Moon, it has nothing to do with the color of the Moon. As Live Science explains, it's simply the name given to the second full moon that occurs in the same month.
