Eating habits have a big impact on men's "performance"

Sedentary

People with specific jobs that require sitting or standing a lot, such as office workers and long-distance drivers, are more likely to develop varicocele than others. This disease causes testicular dysfunction, including the ability to produce male hormones.

A sedentary lifestyle with little exercise also increases the risk of cardiovascular and endocrine diseases... In the long term, they can cause complications in the blood vessels and nerves of the genital area.

Alcohol and tobacco abuse

Using alcohol and tobacco in a short time and in low doses can cause excitement and help relieve stress. However, using too much can inhibit the nervous system and psychology, leading to erectile dysfunction or ejaculation disorders.

Alcohol and tobacco addiction also impair testicular function, reduce sperm quality and male hormones, and increase the risk of chronic cardiovascular, respiratory, and metabolic diseases...

Sugar abuse

Sugar abuse increases the risk of obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol - major risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Men are already at higher risk of cardiovascular disease than women, so sugar abuse further increases this risk. Fructose abuse increases the production of uric acid in the blood, which is the main cause of gout. Gout causes pain, arthritis, and affects the quality of life.

Sugar, especially fructose, reduces testosterone - an important hormone that determines male sexual health. Consuming too much sugar also causes obesity and increases the risk of type 2 diabetes, all of which are detrimental to "that matter".

Too much bad fat

Consuming too much fat, especially trans fat and saturated fat, can cause many harmful effects on men's health, including affecting cardiovascular health, increasing the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and affecting reproductive function.

Research shows that obese men have lower sperm counts and quality, affecting fertility. Obesity and related conditions such as diabetes and heart disease can cause erectile dysfunction. Trans fats can also impair memory in men, increasing the risk of Alzheimer's disease.

Depend on processed foods

Processed foods are often high in saturated fat, trans fat, and sodium, which contribute to high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and heart disease. The high sugar content in many processed foods can lead to insulin resistance and increase the risk of diabetes.

The low fiber content and additives in processed foods can cause digestive problems such as constipation and bloating. Some studies have linked high consumption of processed foods to an increased risk of cancer, especially colorectal cancer.

Processed foods high in saturated fats and preservatives can reduce sperm count and quality, affecting fertility: Unhealthy fats and additives in processed foods can affect blood circulation, contributing to erectile dysfunction. An unhealthy diet high in processed foods can affect hormonal balance, leading to decreased libido.

Eat too much food

Consuming too much food not only leads to weight gain but also causes men to fall into a state of serious energy loss, thereby causing physiological decline.

In addition to feeling sluggish, eating a lot of refined carbohydrates (like white bread and sugary cereals) will quickly spike your blood sugar. Your body tries to counteract this by secreting more insulin, which is also linked to low testosterone.
