Before the decisive match between Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club and SHB Da Nang, to win the only ticket to play in V.League next season, former goalkeeper of Vietnam national team Tan Truong said that his team had prepared for a long time to be determined to get a ticket to play in V.League.
At 38 years old, veteran goalkeeper Bui Tan Truong is a reliable stopper for Binh Phuoc. Having played at the top level for many years, Tan Truong is no stranger to the pressure and nature of a fate-determining match. “I have played in play-off matches, including the one where Dong Thap won 1-0 at Thong Nhat Stadium. Experience is what I have, but more than that is the desire to contribute to Binh Phuoc’s promotion.”
Tan Truong also affirmed that the whole team had made long-term and thorough preparations for this important match: “We did not just practice for a few days but have been preparing for this match for the past year. From the coaching staff, leaders to each player – everyone worked tirelessly with the same goal.”
Talking about pressure and the issue of bonuses, Binh Phuoc captain shared: “Offering bonuses is a legitimate way to create motivation. There is pressure, but it is not a burden but a motivation for us to fight with all our might for Binh Phuoc.”
With alertness and determination, Tan Truong declared with enthusiasm: “As long as I have strength, I will continue to play. In this match, I will enter the field with all my passion. The future will come later, but now is the time to contribute to the team.”

Coach Huynh Quoc Anh - who has been involved in Da Nang football for many years - said he is completely focused on the task of helping Binh Phuoc win the promotion ticket: "I was born and raised in Da Nang , my family and friends are all there, so obviously there is an emotional factor. But as the head coach of Binh Phuoc, I clearly understand the job I need to do. This is the time to put all emotions aside to fully focus on the team's common goal."
Mr. Quoc Anh also highly appreciated SHB Da Nang - a team with a rich tradition and experience - but emphasized that the upcoming match is an opportunity for Binh Phuoc to demonstrate its mettle: "This is a decisive match, not a long tournament. Each team has its own philosophy and way of playing. We do not focus too much on our opponents but will focus on maximizing what we have."
The play-off match between Binh Phuoc and Da Nang will take place at Thong Nhat Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City this afternoon (6:00 p.m., June 27).
