Goalkeeper David de Gea is considering retirement after failing to receive any offers that he finds truly appealing.

David de Gea, one of MU's most iconic figures in the first two decades of the 21st century, is facing a dilemma.
Since his contract with MU ended on June 30 and he became a free agent, De Gea has yet to receive an attractive offer to continue his professional career.
Spanish press reported that De Gea is seriously considering the possibility of retiring if there is still no offer that satisfies him.
In fact, in recent months there have been many representatives in contact with De Gea.
Al-Nassr Club, a football powerhouse in Saudi Arabia, repeatedly invited De Gea to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo but he refused.
About 10 days ago, another Asian representative, Esteghlal of Iran - the team whose goalkeeper Hossein Hosseini just faced Vietnam Olympic team at the 19th Asian Games - also failed in their attempt to hire De Gea.
De Gea's intention is to continue playing at the top level in European football.
Before the 2023 summer transfer window closed, Bayern Munich were close to reaching an agreement with De Gea to replace the long-term injured Manuel Neuer.
From Italy, coach Jose Mourinho intends to bring De Gea to AS Roma. However, the capital representative has not yet made any official offer to the former MU goalkeeper.
Most recently, De Gea received calls from Betis. However, there were too many obstacles in the negotiation process between the parties.
De Gea not only prioritizes finances but also wants to continue playing at the highest level and pursue titles.
After an up and down season at MU, failing to reach an agreement to extend his contract and ending a 12-year adventure, the former Atletico goalkeeper is still hungry for titles and is ready to give his all on the field.
Fichajes said that if there is no offer that is really attractive in both aspects, De Gea will end his professional career.
