Comply with the spending regulations in Resolution No. 08

On September 24, the Culture - Social Committee, Dak Nong Provincial People's Council organized a survey on the implementation results of Resolution No. 08/2012/NQ-HDND dated May 31, 2012 of the Provincial People's Council regulating financial expenditures for sports competitions and some special regimes for referees of football tournaments, coaches, and athletes from 2016 to the end of 2023 at the Sports Training and Competition Center.

According to the report, recently, the Sports Training and Competition Center has seriously implemented the regulations of Resolution No. 08.

From 2016 to the end of 2023, the total amount of money the Center spent on tasks according to Resolution No. 08 was over VND 9,984 billion; of which compensation for organizing committee, referees, and service was over VND 1,651 billion; prize money for competitions was over VND 1,758 billion; organization work was over VND 6,103 billion; performances and parades for provincial-level sports festivals and competitions were over VND 288 million; food for organizing committee, referees, and service was over VND 181 million.

In addition, the center has timely disbursed the contents as prescribed in other documents.

Representatives of the Sports Training and Competition Center reported on the implementation of Resolution No. 08 of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council regulating financial expenditures for sports tournaments and some special regimes for referees of football tournaments, coaches, and athletes from 2016 to the end of 2023.

However, currently, prices and costs are getting higher and higher, so the spending regime in the resolution is still low and no longer suitable for reality.

At the working session, the Survey Delegation of the Department of Culture - Society, the Provincial People's Council and the Sports Training and Competition Center discussed and clarified issues related to expenditure levels, activities and methods of expenditure according to the provisions of Resolution No. 08.

Concluding the survey, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai, Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Committee, requested that in the report, the center clarify and specify the requirements regarding the number of tournaments to be organized, the participation in competitions, and the expenditure level for each tournament/year.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai, Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council, requested the Center to clarify more specifically the contents as required by Resolution No. 08 so that the Delegation can use it as a basis to consider and complete the conclusion.

The Center strictly implements the expenditure level on nutrition regime according to the conclusion of the previous survey team. The expenditure level must be applied correctly according to regulations, ensuring legality; it must not be lower than the regulations.

The delegation recorded and synthesized all comments and contributions; and completed the conclusion by the end of September, at the latest by early October 2024.
