On the evening of July 10, the space of Ana Mandara Villas Dalat in Da Lat was filled with classical and modern music through a special piano solo program called "Fairy, Dream and Dance", by French pianist David Greilsammer.

The concert will feature classic works by composers such as Robert Schumann, Claude Debussy, George Gershwin and Maurice Ravel, along with a special appearance by new work by young British composer Georgie Ward.

David Greilsammer opened with Schumann's Davidsbündlertänze suite, leading the audience into a dreamy, magical world .

Next is Claude Debussy's Les fées sont d'exquises danseuses (The Fairies Are Wonderful Dancers), where each note invites the audience into a dreamy, ethereal, and otherworldly world.

The program also introduces George Gershwin's Prélude N°1 , a work rich in jazz and a distinctive New York sound - both free-spirited and fiery...

A special highlight of the concert night was the work by Georgie Ward, which premiered for the first time. And this was a composition dedicated to David Greilsammer, recreating the space of a ballroom with unique and daring music.

The music night is part of David Greilsammer's series of performances in Vietnam, organized by Pho Ben Doi in collaboration with the French Institute in Vietnam, Ana Mandara Villas Dalat and the famous German piano company C.Bechstein Vietnam.

This is the second time David Greilsammer has performed in Vietnam, after the first time in June 2024 with the program "Un Voyage avec Satie" (Journey with Satie), which took place in Ho Chi Minh City, Hue and Hanoi .

Previously, David Greilsammer also performed with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra in Hanoi, Hue and Da Nang. He will continue his musical journey in Ho Chi Minh City on July 11 and Hanoi on July 12.

Known as a pioneering pianist and conductor, David Greilsammer has performed on many of the world's most prestigious stages and is currently music director of the Geneva Camerata (Switzerland) and the Philharmonie Medellín Orchestra (Colombia).
