A few days ago, Dr. Nguyen Quang Minh was recognized by Cambridge University Publishing and Examinations as a Cambridge Ambassador in recognition of his outstanding contributions in connecting and spreading the value of Cambridge international education in the region.

Previously, in 2022, Dr. Minh was also the first Vietnamese person to become a member of the Cambridge International Education Advisory Council, as a representative of the Southeast Asia region - contributing strategic ideas in improving the Cambridge program, from teaching content, learning methods to assessment forms.

After his term ends in 2024, Dr. Minh will continue to accompany Cambridge as a consultant and connector.

Sharing with VietNamNet , Dr. Nguyen Quang Minh said he was quite surprised, because this great honor was not part of any of his calculations or pre-planned goals.

The 35-year-old doctor has been involved with the Cambridge International Program for more than 10 years. Dr. Minh was selected by Cambridge University because he met strict criteria such as having a deep understanding of the Cambridge International Program; possessing a solid professional profile and recognized academic reputation...

Dr. Minh said that his great fortune is that he is currently the director of education at a school, through which he will have many opportunities to share in a practical way and be close to school leaders.

In his new role as Cambridge Ambassador, Dr. Minh will continue to act as a bridge between Cambridge University's general education programs and schools in Vietnam and the region.

“I want to share with young people and teachers that in work and life, just work with all your heart, just try your best. The results are sometimes surprising. So young people should not be too pragmatic, or think that you have to get something before you do anything. Especially in the field of education, humanity is very high, look at the positive things. Even if you work in a small group, you can still bring and contribute to the overall development of education,” Dr. Minh shared.

Dr. Nguyen Quang Minh has a PhD in Management from Massey University (New Zealand); a postgraduate certificate in Educational Management from the University of Portsmouth (UK); a master's degree in Financial Management from the University of Stirling (UK); and a certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard University.
