(Dan Tri) - Dr. Duong Huu Huy, who graduated with a PhD in Japan, is the youngest new Associate Professor at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade in 2024.
In 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade recognized the title of Associate Professor for 3 PhDs working at the school. Among them, Dr. Duong Huu Huy, the new Associate Professor of Chemistry - Food Technology, is the youngest person of the school to be appointed.
Dr. Duong Huu Huy was born in 1985, from Nha Long commune, Phu Binh district, Thai Nguyen province.

In 2008, Mr. Duong Huu Huy received a bachelor's degree in chemistry, specializing in analytical chemistry, from the University of Natural Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University).
In 2013, also at the University of Natural Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University), Mr. Huy received a master's degree in analytical chemistry.
After nearly 3 years as a graduate student at Osaka Prefecture University, Japan, Mr. Duong Huu Huy was awarded a PhD in materials science and technology, specializing in applied chemistry in 2016.
Since 2016, Dr. Duong Huu Huy has been a researcher and lecturer at the University of Natural Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University).
From September 2018 to present, Dr. Duong Huu Huy has been a lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (before March 2023, the school's name was Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry).
To date, Dr. Duong Huu Huy has published 33 scientific articles, including 17 scientific articles in prestigious international journals. He also guided 4 graduate students to successfully defend their master's theses.
Dr. Duong Huu Huy's main research directions include atmospheric chemistry and environmental pollution treatment.
Two other PhDs from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade were appointed Associate Professors: Dr. Van Tan Luong, born in 1979, and Dr. Nguyen Van It, born in 1975.
