Today, February 5, the Quang Tri Department of Transport announced that it has resolved the errors in the driver's license printing software system and will continue to receive applications for issuance, renewal and re-issuance of driver's licenses at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center and on the Public Service Portal from February 6.
Previously, the Department of Transport issued a document announcing the temporary suspension of receiving applications for issuing and reissuing driving licenses from February 3 until further notice due to errors in the driving license management software system of the Vietnam Road Administration that could not be fixed or completed.
It is known that in 2024, the Department of Transport issued documents directing the implementation, rectification, and improvement of the quality of driver training and testing for driver training facilities in the province. At the same time, it completed the connection and sharing of driver's license data of Quang Tri province with the Quang Tri province's shared database.
Conducted A1 driving license examinations for 9,216 turns; car driving license examinations for 3,769 turns; issued and renewed 13,479 driving licenses of all classes. In particular, 7 courses were implemented to train A1 driving license examinations for ethnic minority people who cannot read or write, and conducted examinations and issued driving licenses for 965 people.
