On the afternoon of July 21, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province led by comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and attended the funeral of comrade Nguyen Van Thang, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province. Attending the funeral were comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Funeral Organizing Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, and the National Assembly Delegation of the province.

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee attended the funeral of comrade Nguyen Van Thang.

At the funeral, comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Funeral Organizing Committee read the eulogy, affirming: After 45 years of working, in many different fields and in any position, comrade Nguyen Van Thang was always exemplary in following the organization's assignments, persistently practicing, diligently studying, researching, promoting the spirit of creativity, devoting all his enthusiasm, strength and intelligence to the revolutionary cause. Despite difficulties and hardships, he always overcame them, strived to excellently complete the assigned tasks; actively cultivated and trained revolutionary ethics; steadfast in his stance, loyal to the Party's ideals; honest in life, simple in activities; frank and straightforward with friends and comrades and was trusted by the Party and respected by the people. He made many important contributions to the continued socio -economic development of Thai Binh province.

Comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, offered incense to pay tribute to comrade Nguyen Van Thang.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Funeral Organizing Committee offered incense to pay tribute to comrade Nguyen Van Thang.

With the great contributions of comrade Nguyen Van Thang, the Party and State have awarded him many noble awards: 65-year Party membership badge, First-class Anti-American Resistance Medal, Third-class Labor Medal, Second-class Anti-American Resistance Medal and many other noble awards.

Farewell to comrade Nguyen Van Thang, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee respectfully bowed before the comrade's spirit and sent deep condolences to the entire bereaved family and relatives.

After the funeral, the body of comrade Nguyen Van Thang was buried at the people's cemetery of his hometown, Hong Minh commune, Hung Ha district.
