Ho Chi Minh City strictly prohibits prolonging disciplinary proceedings leading to expiration of the term.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai has just signed a document to send to the heads of departments, branches, Chairman of the Thu Duc City People's Committee and districts, leaders of state-owned enterprises, public service units, and special associations to strictly implement the Party's regulations and laws on handling cadres, civil servants, and public employees in the area.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee directed that units need to pay special attention to ensuring the time and deadline for disciplinary action. In cases where there has been a decision on Party disciplinary action, it is necessary to promptly issue an administrative disciplinary decision according to authority.

Within 30 days from the announcement of the Party disciplinary decision, the agency, organization or unit must consider and decide on administrative disciplinary action.

Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee strictly prohibits the extension of the time for organizing the implementation of inspection and disciplinary action against violators according to the inspection and examination conclusions, leading to the expiration of the time limit and statute of limitations for disciplinary action against violators.

For cases under the disciplinary authority of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, after coordinating the review, the head of the agency or unit must report the results to the Department of Home Affairs for synthesis, appraisal, and consultation with the city for consideration and decision on disciplinary action.

At the same time, it is emphasized that party discipline does not replace administrative discipline, union discipline and legal sanctions.

When a party member is disciplined by the party, the party committee managing the party member must promptly direct or request competent state agencies and socio- political organizations.

Within 30 days from the date of announcement of the party disciplinary decision, administrative and union disciplinary action (if any) must be taken according to the regulations of the state agency or union.
