The special feature of Hmong costumes is the clear difference between local groups such as Black Hmong, Flower Hmong, White Hmong... Each group has its own color scheme, patterns and designs, reflecting different living habits and aesthetic concepts. Women's costumes usually include multi-layered flared skirts, wide-sleeved shirts, belts, aprons, leggings, headscarves and silver jewelry. The elaborate hand-embroidered patterns symbolize nature, beliefs and daily life.

Over many generations, the Hmong people have preserved and promoted the value of their traditional costumes. Even in the modern context with the development of industrial fashion , Hmong dresses still hold a distinct position in cultural and artistic life.

Nowadays, many artisans and young H'Mong people have proactively created and innovated costumes using new materials such as velvet and synthetic fibers to increase comfort for the wearer, while still maintaining the traditional aesthetic core.

Hmong costumes are increasingly present in cultural events, festivals, art performances and daily life, especially popular in the fields of tourism and photography. Hmong motifs have also become a source of inspiration for modern designers at home and abroad.

It can be affirmed that the traditional H'Mong costume is a valuable heritage, contributing to affirming national identity, uniting the community and enriching the country's colorful cultural map.
