The class took place from November 13 to 22, 2023, under the direct instruction of 5 artisans, people knowledgeable about ethnic culture and 20 students.

Folk songs, folk dances, and folk music are considered unique and important forms of folk performing arts, and are indispensable spiritual food in the spiritual life and daily activities of ethnic minorities in general and the K'ho people in particular. However, through the process of cultural exchange, under the impact of the market economy , the media, and the increasingly aging of artisans practicing folk art forms in the community, many dedicated elders have passed away... so the cultural identity of each ethnic group is being threatened and gradually disappearing. Therefore, organizing the teaching of folk art to the younger generation of each ethnic group for inheritance is necessary.

At the closing ceremony, the Provincial Museum highly appreciated the learning spirit of the students and hoped that the students would promote a sense of responsibility in regularly transmitting, learning, and maintaining the performance of folk songs, folk dances, and folk music in daily activities as well as in the life of the community, avoiding the risk of being lost and forgotten, so that traditional culture will forever survive and develop in the future. At the same time, the Provincial Museum awarded certificates to 20 students who completed the course.

Mr. K' Van Ven - Vice Chairman of Dong Giang Commune People's Committee said: The training classes are very meaningful and necessary to continue the traditional customs of the nation. Through the classes, students not only grasp the basic skills and initially approach the folk songs, folk dances, and musical instruments of their nation, but also express their talents in the cultural and artistic movement. It is expected that in the near future, the locality will establish a club to perform for visitors during festivals and participate in art performances, cultural exchanges, etc.
