U22 Vietnam needed to beat U22 China to win the CFA Team China 2025 friendly championship. Coach Dinh Hong Vinh and his team played with determination and took the lead at times. However, U22 Vietnam unfortunately lost the victory.

In the early stages of the match, China controlled the ball more but were not sharp in their final passes. In contrast, U22 Vietnam were quite confident in coordinating in the midfield. Unfortunately, the thin attacking force prevented the visitors from making a difference.

The advantage on the field helped the players in white play much more confidently.

Quoc Viet had a few more notable plays before the first half whistle blew. Unfortunately, U22 Vietnam did not score any more goals and entered the break with a 1-goal lead over their opponents. The second half witnessed great pressure from the home team on the U22 Vietnam field.

In the 49th minute, U22 China had another dangerous opportunity but the red shirt player could not beat Cao Van Binh. In the 69th minute, U22 China was awarded a penalty and Aisikaer successfully converted it to help the home team equalize 1-1. However, Hong Phuc disputed the ball with the opponent and was penalized in a controversial move, the U22 Vietnam player protested the referee's decision. But just a few minutes later, Zhang Yixuan received a second yellow card and was sent off.

With the advantage of more players, U22 Vietnam rushed to attack. Xuan Bac made fans regret when his corner kick hit the crossbar. Accepting a 1-1 draw with China, U22 Vietnam remained unbeaten but ranked third in the CFA Team China 2025 tournament.
