On the morning of March 1, City International Hospital (CIH) under Hoa Lam - Sangri-La Medical Group opened the Infertility Support Center (IVF Center).

Master, Doctor Tran Quoc Thanh - Executive Director of the Reproductive Support Center of City International Hospital - said that in more than 10 years of operation, the team of staff and doctors at the hospital have always strived to bring the most advanced and high-tech techniques to meet the needs of patients.

The birth of the reproductive support center is a new step forward, "giving wings to the dream" of becoming parents for many infertile couples.

At the same time, it helps reduce pressure on reproductive support centers of public hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City and contributes to the development of both expertise and technology in reproductive support in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general.

Mr. Dinh Anh Tuan - Director of the Department of Maternal and Child Health - said that this is the 65th assisted reproductive center in Vietnam. Since 1998, Vietnam has had more than 200,000 children born thanks to assisted reproductive technology. That is the overwhelming joy of many infertile couples.

Accordingly, assisted reproductive technology in Vietnam has been developing rapidly, with advanced techniques and equipment that are not inferior to the world. Moreover, assisted reproductive centers are not only trusted by domestic people, but also attract many infertile couples from neighboring countries to perform assisted reproductive technology.

In the context of the birth rate in our country tending to decrease below the replacement level, assisted reproductive technology contributes greatly to solving the birth rate decline, creating high-quality human resources contributing to the development of the country.

Mr. Tuan said: "In addition to improving the capacity of the medical staff and ensuring the quality of treatment, I hope the center will also have policies to reduce costs and support poor infertile workers to find children."

At the ceremony, the City International Hospital's Reproductive Support Center presented 300 free breast cancer screenings, 100 treatment cost support packages for infertile couples, and 1 free treatment package for a couple in difficult circumstances in Binh Tan district.
