Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia inspected and worked in Dien Bien

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee spoke at the meeting.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do reported to the working delegation on the implementation of preparations for the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Up to this point, the preparation work for the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory is being vigorously coordinated by Dien Bien province. Along with promoting information and propaganda work; logistics work, ensuring material facilities for the celebration are also being deployed synchronously, especially directing the review, statistics, classification of motels, hotels, arranging accommodation for delegates, tourists and over 4,500 people from the military and militia forces, forces performing tasks in Dien Bien province.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, spoke at the meeting.

To ensure security and order, Dien Bien province has mobilized 3,000 cadres, soldiers and forces to participate in implementing plans to ensure security and order for Party and State delegations; basically completed the review of personnel at the accommodation of Party and State leaders and international guests; and developed plans to ensure security and order for special art programs and rallies, parades and marches.

Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia presented gifts and encouraged the female militia of ethnic groups in the Northwest.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia highly appreciated the province's efforts in the past time. In order to successfully organize the anniversary, the Head of the Central Propaganda Department requested Dien Bien province to continue to do a good job of preparing to organize the anniversary according to the script, arranging and adjusting the time of activities taking place in the program appropriately. The Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense coordinated with the locality to do a good job of ensuring security and safety for the anniversary, serving the maximum satisfaction of the delegates. The Central Propaganda Department coordinated with Dien Bien province to promote communication to promptly serve the people, tourists, etc.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia gave gifts and encouraged the air force to fly the welcome flight and the air defense - air force officers.
