Searching for woman who borrowed 600 million VND from bank employee and then fled

On the afternoon of July 26, the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Provincial Police announced that it had issued a decision to search for Nguyen Thi Hue (born in 1986, residing in Phu Quoc Special Zone, An Giang Province) to serve the investigation of the case of "Abuse of trust to appropriate property", which occurred in October 2023, in Duong Dong Ward, Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province (old).

Through verifying the source of the crime report from the people, it was determined that: Nguyen Thi Hue knew TMT, who was an employee of a bank branch in Phu Quoc. Hue asked T to make a bank card and prepare documents to borrow money from the bank to create trust.

On October 16, 2023, Hue borrowed 600 million VND from T with the purpose of repaying the bank loan and making a loan application to return it to T, and T agreed. After receiving the money lent by T, Hue only paid the bank 3 times, with a total amount of over 107 million VND and fled the area.

On December 27, 2024, the Investigation Police Agency of Kien Giang Provincial Police (now An Giang Provincial Police) initiated a case to continue investigating and clarifying the case.

Currently, it is unknown where Hue is, and a search is needed to serve the work of resolving crime reports. The Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Province Police requests that individuals, agencies, and organizations that know where Nguyen Thi Hue is, immediately notify comrade Nguyen Ngoc Liep, Team 3, Office of the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Province Police.
