On May 13, the City Youth Union, the Youth Union of Da Nang City , in coordination with the City Labor Federation and the City Young Doctors Association organized a program to provide medical examination, health consultation, free medicine distribution and gifts to workers in 2023.
At the program, free consultation, medical examination and medicine were provided and 300 gifts worth 150 million VND and 10 steam fans worth 30 million VND were given to 300 young workers in difficult circumstances working in factories and enterprises.
In addition, leaders of the City Labor Federation and leaders of the Da Nang City Youth Union visited the boarding houses of young workers to hand over steam fans to disadvantaged households of young workers residing in boarding houses in Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City to share and encourage young workers during this peak heat wave.
Many gifts were given away.
In addition, to ensure good consultation and medical examination, the City Young Physicians Association has mobilized more than 30 young doctors and nurses. Through examination, doctors promptly detected cases of disease; provided timely treatment advice, minimizing the risk of affecting functional activities and health for people after prolonged Covid-19. The total support fund for the program is more than 200 million VND.
The program is an opportunity for young people to affirm their pioneering role and responsibility through practical actions; promote the accompanying role of the Trade Union and Youth Union in caring for, supporting, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of young workers; thereby creating conditions and motivation for young workers to ensure their health, strengthen their faith, and contribute to the good implementation of political , labor, and production tasks in localities and units, especially the economic recovery and development of the city.
