The Organizing Committee received 241 works from 241 authors who are members of the Vietnam Musicians Association from all provinces and cities across the country. There were 202 works in vocal music; 23 works in instrumental music; 16 theoretical works, including monographs, collections - research, textbooks, collections of music articles and 59 performance programs of various categories.

According to the Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians Association Nguyen Duc Trinh, this year the Vietnam Music Awards has added the Golden Sol Award category to honor musical products with high artistic value, with many outstanding contributions to the development of advanced Vietnamese music, imbued with national identity. The Golden Sol and Silver Sol awards are given to live shows, live concerts, MVs, albums... and special awards for producers, directors, recordings, excellent songs, singers, and typical artists...
The Art Council, consisting of prestigious musicians and experts from within and outside the Vietnam Musicians Association such as: People's Artist Nguyen Quang Vinh - Head of the Committee; members: Director Pham Viet Thanh, musician Quoc Trung, musician Huy Tuan, musician Giang Son... selected quality works and projects to award. The results included 4 A prizes, 25 B prizes, 27 C prizes, 13 consolation prizes; 5 Sol Gold prizes, 2 Sol Silver prizes, and a certificate of merit for 1 performance program.

The first Golden Sol Award in 2024, the Best Singer category was awarded to Tung Duong (photo) ; the Golden Sol Dedicated Artist was awarded to artist Tran Manh Tuan.
In the MV category: The Golden Sol Award was given to the MV Nhat bai thien dia , author: The Flob (HCMC), director: Nguyen Minh Quang; the Silver Sol Award was given to Loi dam , author: Quyech (Nguyen Tien Duc), director: Nong Thanh Tuan.
Album category: Golden Sol Award: Finger Rivers , author: Tran Duc Minh (Hanoi), singer: Ha Tran. Silver Sol Award: Museum of Regret , author: Vu. (Hoang Thai Vo - Hanoi).
Live Concert Category: Golden Sol Award: Live concert Co doi lan , author: Duc Tri (HCMC).
