Player Tuyet Ngan had appendectomy, just in time to return to compete in Southeast Asian Championship

Striker Nguyen Thi Tuyet Ngan had surgery on July 15 due to appendicitis. She still has a chance to join the Vietnamese women's team at the Southeast Asian championship on home soil.

On July 17, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu - Vice President of BFF, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hoi - Standing Member of VFF, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu - General Secretary of VFF visited and encouraged female player Nguyen Thi Tuyet Ngan (member of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Football Club) - currently focusing on the Vietnamese women's team preparing to participate in the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship, taking place from August 6.

During the training session, Tuyet Ngan suffered from acute appendicitis and was treated promptly. After surgery, the player born in 2000 was discharged from the hospital and is being monitored by the team's doctors at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.

If her health progresses well, Tuyet Ngan may be able to return in time to participate in the tournament with the team.
