On July 1, Chairman of Vingroup , Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, announced the establishment of FGF - For Green Future Trading and Service Joint Stock Company, operating in the field of buying, selling and renting electric cars. FGF's mission is to increase access to electric cars for the majority of people, to promote the green transition, contributing to the realization of the Government's Net Zero commitment by 2050. FGF Company has a charter capital of VND 200 billion, of which Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong holds 90% of the shares. FGF operates in the field of buying and selling VinFast electric cars and providing self-driving electric car rental services. The company's goal is to become a platform to help develop the used electric car market, bringing peace of mind to VinFast car owners about resale value when needed. Through FGF, consumers can increase their access and switch to electric vehicles at competitive prices and guaranteed quality, contributing to accelerating the green transition process nationwide. In addition to the scope of buying and selling used cars, FGF Company also provides self-driving electric car rental services (both used and new cars) for organizations and individuals at reasonable costs. Not only actively increasing the driving experience and smart features, the electric car rental service also helps customers optimize daily operating and travel costs, thereby easily coming to the decision to own a green, environmentally friendly means of transport. In the first phase, FGF is expected to have 1,000-2,000 self-driving rental cars, including all VinFast models, operating in major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hue, etc. After officially operating, the fleet size will continue to increase in quantity, moving towards expanding the scope of operations nationwide. Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, General Director of FGF Company said: "As the name suggests - FGF was born to provide green solutions for everyone. Through FGF, consumers can access, own and use electric vehicles quickly and conveniently at an extremely optimal cost. We expect FGF to be one of the factors accelerating the green transition process, for a clean and sustainable future for future generations". The establishment of the used electric car trading and rental company FGF is the next step of Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong in the greening of transportation in Vietnam. Previously, he founded GSM Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company operating in the field of passenger transport and V-GREEN Global Charging Station Development Company to increase the ability to experience and use electric vehicles for the majority of people, contributing to the completion of the green transport ecosystem and promoting action to realize the Government's Net Zero commitment by 2050 at COP 26.
