Van Toan said goodbye to Seoul E-Land before the season ended.

On September 15, Seoul E-Land Club announced their farewell to Van Toan. At the same time, they revealed that the player's next destination is Nam Dinh Club.

Van Toan joined Seoul E-Land at the beginning of the 2023 season after his contract with HAGL Club expired. He worked under coach Park Choong-kyun - who was an assistant to coach Park Hang Seo in the third qualifying round of the 2023 World Cup.

Van Toan was trusted by coach Park Choong-kyun in the early stages. However, he gradually lost his position and was not registered to play in the last 3 months. Van Toan only played 9 matches, including 4 starts at Seoul E-Land. The former HAGL player did not score any goals in K-League 2.

Van Toan has not left much of a mark professionally. However, he himself feels happy during his time in Korea.

He added: " I have many memories at the club. I remember how I was welcomed when I first arrived. I remember the moment of celebration with the whole team when we had a difficult start to the season before winning the first victory. That is a memory in my career. I hope the club is a good place for players to come and win more titles in the future ."

Besides, Van Toan also thanked the fans. He expressed his emotion at the warm affection that the fans of this team gave him.

" I would like to thank the fans for supporting me. When I first arrived, I felt very scared because I didn't know how I would be welcomed and whether I could do anything for the team. But when I came here, everyone helped me feel very familiar with this place.

I thank everyone for their support during this time. I feel happy every time I hear the fans chant my name. I will always keep that memory ," Van Toan confided.
