" I will return to Japan on December 26. Six years have passed in the blink of an eye. I live like a Vietnamese, eat local food with the players, ride a motorbike anywhere without looking at a map. I came and fell in love with everything about Vietnamese culture. I made friends with many Vietnamese people, and their support and help helped me overcome difficulties ," coach Akira Ijiri shared on his personal page.

VFF will end the contract with the head coach of the Vietnam U20 women's team - Mr. Akira Ijiri at the end of December. The Japanese coach is responsible for training young women's teams such as U16, U17, U19 and U20 Vietnam women's teams.
