Tonight, August 10, in Thu Luat village, Vinh Thai commune, the National Day for National Security Protection (ANTQ) was held. This is the locality chosen by Vinh Linh district to hold a model festival in the entire district.

Over the years, the Party Committee and government of Vinh Thai commune have always identified protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, and building a mass movement to protect national security as important and regular tasks of the entire political system and society.
Therefore, the Party Committee and the government of Vinh Thai commune have focused on leading and directing the implementation of coordinated propaganda, education and mobilization work to raise awareness among cadres, party members and people about the glorious tradition of the nation, the leadership role of the Party, and the strength of the people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

After 19 years of launching and organizing, the National Day for National Security Protection in Vinh Thai commune has become increasingly effective. In practice, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements have been commended at all levels in participating in building the National Security Protection Movement.
At the program, representatives of agencies, schools and villages in Vinh Thai commune signed an emulation agreement to carry out the movement of the whole people to protect national security.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded a certificate of merit to 1 individual; the Director of Quang Tri Provincial Police awarded a certificate of merit to 1 collective and 1 individual; the Chairman of Vinh Linh District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 10 individuals; the Chairman of Vinh Thai Commune People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the movement of the whole people protecting national security.
Vinh Linh District People's Committee presented 10 gifts to 10 policy families; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Thai commune presented 20 gifts to 20 families in difficult circumstances in the commune.
