Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz will be the first pair in the men's singles semifinals of Wimbledon 2025.

Second seed Alcaraz showed a devastating performance when he easily defeated home player Cameron Norrie after only three sets with a score of 6-2, 6-3, 6-3.

In the match that lasted only 1 hour and 39 minutes, the defending champion showed complete superiority. He had 39 winners and especially did not lose a single serve. "To reach the Wimbledon semi-finals again is very special," Alcaraz shared after the convincing victory.

In contrast to Alcaraz's quick victory, his semi-final opponent Taylor Fritz had to go through a dramatic match with Karen Khachanov.

The American started strongly and won the first two sets 6-3, 6-4. However, he suddenly lost control and quickly lost 1-6 in the third set.

The No. 5 seed had to work hard to regain control of the match and win the tie-break in the fourth set to set the final score at 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6.

Alcaraz is rated higher than Fritz because he is in good form and plays on his favorite grass field.

The remaining men's singles semi-finalists will be determined after the two quarter-final matches between Novak Djokovic vs Flavio Cobolli and Jannik Sinner vs Ben Shelton take place tonight (July 9).

Meanwhile, in the women's singles, Amanda Anisimova and Aryna Sabalenka are the first two names to enter the semi-finals.
