Gasoline prices continue to increase for the third consecutive session

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just announced an adjustment in gasoline prices with increases for many products, effective from 3:00 p.m. on June 26.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , based on the developments in world oil prices, fluctuations in the VND/USD exchange rate and current regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided to adjust retail prices of oil products to ensure domestic prices are consistent with world trends, encourage the use of biofuels and harmonize interests among market participants.

E5 RON 92 gasoline has a new price of 20,911 VND/liter, an increase of 280 VND/liter compared to the current price. After adjustment, Gasoline price E5 RON 92 is nearly 596 VND/liter lower than RON 95-III gasoline.

Meanwhile, RON 95-III gasoline has a new price of VND21,507/liter, an increase of VND263/liter.

Diesel 0.05S has a new price of 19,707 VND/liter, an increase of 551 VND/liter.

Kerosene has a new price of 19,417 VND/liter, an increase of 494 VND/liter compared to the current price.

Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S was adjusted at 17,269 VND/kg, down 374 VND/kg.

In this adjustment period, the joint ministries decided to continue not to set aside and not to use the gasoline price stabilization fund for E5 RON 92 gasoline, RON 95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene and fuel oil.

According to the joint agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance, the market gasoline The world operating period from June 19 to 26 was influenced by many factors with an upward trend for all commodities.

Specifically, it increased to 84.436 USD/barrel of RON 92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON 92 gasoline (up 1.348 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.62%); 86.282 USD/barrel of RON 95 gasoline (up 1.154 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.36%).

For oil products, the price increased to 90.136 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 2.558 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 2.92%); 92.416 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel (up 2.860 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 3.19%); 462.876 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 13.970 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 2.93%).

Thus, gasoline prices have increased for three consecutive sessions recently, especially the sharp increase this time due to the impact of the war in Middle Eastern countries.
