(Dan Tri) - Initial verification results of the Department of Education and Training of Hai Ba Trung district (Hanoi) have not detected any leaks of math exam questions for 9th grade students at the district level.
In recent days, information has appeared on social networks that the math exam for gifted 9th grade students in Hai Ba Trung district ( Hanoi ) is similar to the review exam for students at Trung Vuong school and students in Dong Da district.
Responding to the press about this information, Mr. Nguyen Van Tam - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Hai Ba Trung District - said that as soon as receiving the information, the Department summoned all relevant responsible members.
"The verification results show that there was no leaking of exam questions, and no individual or department was found to have leaked information about the exam questions to the outside," said Mr. Tam.
Mr. Tam added that the work of reviewing, investigating and verifying the suspected leaking of exam questions is still ongoing. Initially, the Department has investigated all schools, principals, teachers of the math team and math teachers in general in the district.
"We also talked with Trung Vuong Secondary School, the school confirmed that no exam questions like the excellent student exam questions of Hai Ba Trung district were given to students to review.
Up to this point, the Department has not received any information from schools, teachers and students about the leak of exam questions before the exam date," Mr. Tam affirmed.
In case of discovering a problem, the representative of the Department of Education and Training of Hai Ba Trung district will strictly handle it according to regulations on the basis of ensuring the best interests and fairness for students, "not taking the wrong good students".
Regarding the exam question making process, Mr. Tam said that the teachers invited to make the questions are from outside the district and do not directly teach review in Hai Ba Trung district.
The person who creates the test must sign a test creation contract and commit to ensuring compliance with regulations on the scientific nature, accuracy of the test and the confidentiality of the test.
In the process of creating exam questions for gifted students in general and math in particular, the department invites experts with experience in training and creating exam questions at educational institutions outside the district. The department also invites experts and key teachers to review the exam questions, ensuring that the exam questions are accurate and meet the requirements of the gifted student exam questions.
All members of the Exam Committee commit to take responsibility for the accuracy and confidentiality of the exam.
It is expected that on November 11, the district will announce the results of the district-level 9th grade excellent student exam.
