On October 18, the Association of Women Intellectuals of Hue Central Hospital announced that the unit had just coordinated with units in Thua Thien Hue province to organize the program "Donate hair - Spread love" for female cancer patients being treated at the hospital. This meaningful activity took place on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.
According to the representative of the Association of Women Intellectuals of Hue Central Hospital, the image of hair falling out after each round of radiotherapy and chemotherapy always makes women feel self-conscious, along with anxiety and depression due to worrying about the disease. Understanding this, the hair donation program for female cancer patients being treated at Hue Central Hospital was organized with a humane meaning, spreading love and sharing.

In addition, the program takes place with the desire to spread the hair donation activity to many kind-hearted people, contributing more to the hair fund so that more can be donated to female cancer patients. Through the activity, it partly encourages female patients to have more faith, determination and optimism to fight and win against the disease, soon returning to their loved ones and family.
At this program, more than 100 women came to donate their hair. The hair donors were not only female officers and civil servants working at Hue Central Hospital but also many women in Thua Thien Hue province. Also in this hair donation, many girls registered to join, spreading humane and meaningful messages.
Giving gifts to patients in difficult circumstances at the program.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 50 gifts, each worth 500 thousand VND and 15 sets of hair to female patients in difficult circumstances. The female patients enjoyed special performances, joining in the atmosphere of celebrating Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.
It is known that in addition to the program "Donate Hair - Spread Love", in recent years, the staff of Hue Central Hospital has organized many volunteer activities, aiming at providing comprehensive care for patients in both material and spiritual aspects. In particular, much attention is paid to vulnerable patients such as the elderly, women and children.
