Attending the first Provincial Veterans Singing Festival in 2024, there are 10 mass art troupes of the Veterans Association of the Agencies and Enterprises, districts, towns and cities in the province. Each troupe will stage a program with a total duration of no more than 45 minutes, equivalent to about 7 performances, including: Singing, dancing, music, reciting poetry, dancing... The performances have themes praising the Party, beloved Uncle Ho; the homeland, land and people of Dien Bien ; the tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army; the tradition of the Veterans Association over 35 years of construction and growth; achievements in the renovation of the country and the province; introducing the traditional cultural identity of ethnic groups...
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Major General Luu Trong Lu, Chairman of the provincial Association of War Veterans, emphasized: “The festival is an opportunity to continue promoting the mass art movement of war veterans in the whole province, contributing to promoting the values of folk songs and dances, preserving the national cultural identity. The organization of the festival also aims to continue promoting the tradition of loyalty, solidarity, exemplary behavior, innovation, and encouraging cadres and members of the War Veterans Association in the province to improve the quality of emulation movements at all levels of the association to a new level…”.
The first Provincial Veterans Singing Festival, 2024 will take place over 2 days (September 11-12) at the Provincial Children's House. The closing ceremony and award ceremony of the Festival are expected to take place on the afternoon of September 12. At 8:00 p.m. on the same day, the outdoor stage of the Provincial Children's House will host a performance night of outstanding performances selected from the first Provincial Veterans Singing Festival, 2024.
Before the opening ceremony of the first provincial Veterans' Singing Festival in 2024, the Veterans' Association held a launching ceremony to support compatriots affected by storm No. 3.
