14 teams participate in the final round of the 2023 National Student Basketball Tournament

The national finals of the 2023 NUC National Student Basketball Tournament bring together 8 men's teams and 6 women's teams.

In the men's category, the 8 participating teams are: Hanoi National University of Education, Danang University, University of Transport, Foreign Trade University, Vietnam Maritime University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, RMIT University, Hoa Sen University.

In the women's category, the 6 participating teams are: Ton Duc Thang University, Hanoi National University, Foreign Trade University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Danang University, Hanoi National University of Education.

Danang University, Foreign Trade University and Hanoi Pedagogical University are the schools with both men's and women's teams participating in the final round.

This is the second year the tournament has been held. In the first year, RMIT University was the champion of the men's event. They only kept 30% of their members to defend the title. Ton Duc Thang University was the champion of the women's event. This team also changed many positions in the lineup.

The National Finals of the 2023 National Student Basketball Tournament will take place in Hanoi from December 4 to December 9. All matches of the 2023 NUC National Finals will be livestreamed on the tournament's fanpage, Youtube channel and Basketball TV fanpage.

The tournament is organized by the Department of Physical Education - Ministry of Education and Training, Max Sports Entertainment Joint Stock Company (MSE) and Viet Digital Content and Trading Joint Stock Company (Vietcontent) under a long-term agreement.
