269 officials resigned, including many department leaders

(NLDO) - Many leaders of departments and branches in Can Tho City have resigned to implement the policy of restructuring and organizing the apparatus.


On February 17, speaking with reporters, Mr. Chau Viet Tha, Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Can Tho City, said that in implementing the policy on restructuring and organizing the apparatus, up to this point, the department has received resignation applications from 269 cases.

Mr. Chau Viet Tha, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, said he is reviewing the resignation applications of 269 officials, civil servants and public employees.

"Among them are many leaders of departments, offices, and public service units; specialists and contract employees. The Department is reviewing, classifying and assigning competent authorities to consider. If department leaders request to resign, the Department of Home Affairs will advise the City Party Committee to decide; for department-level leaders and specialists, the departments will decide," informed Mr. Chau Viet Tha.

Of the 269 officials, civil servants and public employees who resigned, 115 were from the department block, including: 12 directors, deputy directors of departments and equivalent; 59 department-level leaders...

District and county units have a total of 34 people; public service units under the department have 65 people; public service units under the City People's Committee have 9 people, public service units at the district level have 44 people who have applied for resignation...
