Tropical depression likely to strengthen into storm and move into East Sea

On July 16, according to information from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, a tropical depression has formed in the eastern Philippines, moving slowly in a west-northwest direction.

The tropical depression is likely to strengthen into a storm and move into the East Sea in the next 1-2 days.

From July 19 to 20, the East Sea area (including Hoang Sa and Truong Sa) will have strong winds, high waves, and rough seas.

From July 20 to 25, the Northern region and Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces are likely to experience widespread heavy rain.
