According to MacRumors , there have been many reports on the Apple Support Community page that some iPhone 15 users are experiencing continuous Bluetooth connection problems since the device's launch until now.
iPhone 15 Bluetooth issue annoys many users
Affected customers are having trouble keeping their iPhones connected to older Bluetooth devices, such as car systems or wireless headphones that use the technology. Specifically, a user on the MacRumors forum said: "After updating to iOS 17, the Bluetooth connection in my 2014 BMW car has been intermittent during phone calls. Specifically, I've made a hands-free call in the car and the Bluetooth disconnects after just a few seconds, forcing me to use the speakerphone on my iPhone. My car has been connected to a lot of iPhones because I change phones every year and I've seen early iOS releases have issues with Bluetooth, but now it's been through 2 updates and Apple hasn't fixed the issue. My other iPhone 12 doesn't have the issue."
Many iPhone 15 users have reported problems with Bluetooth headsets, car systems, and other devices, but some users have also had problems with newer products like AirPods, specifically: "I switched from iPhone 15 Plus to iPhone 15 Pro Max and am experiencing poor Bluetooth connectivity. Both AirPods Max and Beats Studio Buds have unstable connections, calls often disconnect after 5-10 minutes. I have tried many measures but they are not effective."
Reports of Bluetooth issues date back to last October, a month after the iPhone 15 launched. But they’ve persisted, with the most recent reports coming from users running iOS 17.3.1.
The cause of the problem is still unknown, but users are affected on both iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. The only solution at the moment is to 'live with it' or change to another phone, people are still waiting for Apple to speak up and completely fix this annoying problem.
