On December 26, Viettel Phu Tho coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union to inaugurate and hand over the "100 Dong House" to the family of Mr. Dinh Van Luong - Secretary of the Youth Union of Hon area, Xuan An commune, Yen Lap district.
Representative of Viettel Phu Tho leaders presented funding to support the construction of "100 Dong House" to Mr. Dinh Van Luong.
Mr. Luong’s family is a poor household with 7 members, his parents are old and weak, often sick, and his children are still in school. The whole family is living in a level 4 house with dirt walls and a thatched roof that is seriously degraded and unsafe.
Faced with that situation, through the survey and connection of Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union, Viettel Military Industry - Telecommunications Group supported Mr. Luong's family with 90 million VND from the "100 Dong House" fund to build a new 70m2 house (total construction cost over 400 million VND). The remaining amount was supported by local departments, branches, organizations and brothers, relatives, and neighbors in terms of material and labor.
The fund of the program "100 Dong House" is contributed by Viettel Youth Union members and youths with 100 Dong/day in the spirit of "A small action, making a great gesture" to join hands to support construction costs for families of cadres, workers, policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, and families with especially difficult housing circumstances. |
After more than 2 months of construction, the “100 Dong House” was completed and put into use to the joy of Mr. Dinh Van Luong’s family. This is a meaningful work demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, mutual assistance, and joining hands for the poor of local businesses, departments, branches, and organizations. Thereby, helping Mr. Luong’s family have more motivation to rise up and gradually stabilize their lives.
