After heavy rain caused by storm No. 4, a large amount of garbage was carried in by the waves and littered the beach in Da Nang.
According to Dan Viet reporters on September 20-21, along Nguyen Tat Thanh beach (Thanh Khe district), garbage washed ashore by the waves formed a long line.
Garbage from all over flows into the sea. When the tide goes out, the garbage gets trapped on the sandbanks.
Garbage is mostly water hyacinth, plastic bottles, dry firewood... lying along the coast forming a long line.
According to records on September 20-21, many young people picked up trash together and gathered it into piles for environmental sanitation workers to come and clean up.
These young people are high school students in Da Nang city.
Huynh Van Nhat Huy - Phan Chau Trinh High School said: "After the recent storm No. 4, I saw a lot of trash along the beach, especially water hyacinth washed ashore by the waves. Therefore, my friends and I proactively went to pick it up. Hopefully, our small actions will contribute to making Da Nang beach greener, cleaner and more beautiful."
It can be seen that the type of garbage washed ashore is mainly water hyacinth, used plastic bottles and even dead fish.
