The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Lam Dong province paid a courtesy visit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of August 1, Most Venerable Thich Minh Nhat - Member of the Executive Council, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Lam Dong province led a delegation of the Executive Committee's leaders to visit and pay a courtesy visit to the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee after completing the new organization based on the merger of the Executive Committees of the VBS of three provinces: Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong.

Also attending the greeting ceremony were Most Venerable Thich Thanh Tan - member of the Executive Council, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, along with Deputy Heads and Standing Members of the Executive Committee.

Receiving the delegation were comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, comrade Luu Van Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and representatives of leaders of departments and branches of the province.

At the meeting, Most Venerable Thich Minh Nhat expressed his agreement with the policy of restructuring the Party and State apparatus, demonstrating the determination of the Sangha in stabilizing the organization and promoting Buddhist activities in the new period. The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Lam Dong province (after the merger) currently has 175 members, including 68 members in the Standing Committee and 10 Most Venerable Elders. Most Venerable Thich Minh Nhat hopes to continue receiving the attention and facilitation of the provincial leaders so that Buddhist activities in the area can develop further, contributing to building the new Lam Dong province to be increasingly stable and develop sustainably. During the visit and courtesy call, the delegation sent gifts and congratulations on the occasion of the traditional day of the Party's Propaganda sector.

He also briefly informed about the situation of the administrative apparatus after the merger of the new Lam Dong province, with 124 administrative units at the commune, ward and special zone levels, which is now basically stable.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, boost Buddhist activities according to the motto "Dharma - Nation - Socialism", and accompany the local government in the development of the province. The Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and departments and branches pledge to continue to create favorable conditions for Buddhism in Lam Dong province to operate more and more effectively, achieving many good achievements.
