On the morning of April 4, 2025, a heartbreaking accident occurred at the construction site of a level 4 house near An Tan Bridge, Nui Thanh Town, Nui Thanh District, Quang Nam Province. While working, Mr. Luc was electrocuted and died on the spot. The unexpected accident left a great pain and an irreplaceable void for the whole family.
As soon as receiving the information, Agribank Insurance (ABIC) staff quickly visited the family's home to encourage and guide them through insurance-related procedures.
However, Mr. Luc's family did not believe much. Not only because the pain was still too new, but also because of a long-standing skepticism: "Insurance is only good at collecting money, but getting money from insurance is... never!" On May 29, 2025, the family was invited to the Phu Ninh Agribank branch to complete the procedures to pay the insurance amount of 300 million VND. While waiting, they turned to ask the bank staff: "You said you would receive the money, why are you still waiting like this? Is that true?"

In 2024, Agribank Insurance paid out more than VND 380 billion in compensation for credit insurance. By the end of May 2025, the amount of credit insurance paid to customers was VND 161 billion, accumulated from 2007 to present is more than VND 3,200 billion. That amount has helped hundreds of thousands of farming households overcome difficulties when facing unexpected risks in life.

After the payment, Ms. Doan Thi Kieu (the insured's daughter) quietly met with an ABIC officer to ask for an ABIC payment logo to take home, not only as a souvenir, but also to burn incense to report to her deceased father.
“Dad, the family has received the insurance money for the loan, the bank debt has been cleared, you can rest in peace.” – Ms. Kieu said with tears in her eyes. For the family, the sign is not just a simple symbol, but a sacred testament for the father to rest in peace, so that he can soon be liberated to the eternal world – because from now on, the burden of debt will no longer weigh on the shoulders of those left behind. “I will go home and tell the whole neighborhood and my relatives. So that everyone knows that my family has received money from Agribank Insurance,” Ms. Kieu said emotionally.
