Previously, at 1:50 p.m. on June 20, the Criminal Police Department of Hung Yen Province Police coordinated with Khoai Chau District Police and Binh Minh Commune Police to catch red-handed at the house of Pham Van Son (29 years old, residing in Thiet Tru village, Binh Minh commune, Khoai Chau district) many people organizing gambling and gambling with each other for money in the form of dice shaking.
The gamblers were taken to the police station.
The police seized a total of 183.5 million VND, 14 cell phones and many other gambling-related items from the gambling table and from the gamblers.
Initially, the investigation agency determined that there were 15 people involved in organizing and gambling; of which, 5 people organized, led by Pham Van Dong (26 years old, residing in Dong Que village, Me So commune, Van Giang district) and 4 other co-organizers: Pham Van Son (homeowner); Nguyen Van Tuan (26 years old, residing in Thiet Tru village, Binh Minh commune), Nguyen Trung Hieu (22 years old, residing in Bang Nha village, Binh Minh commune) and Pham Duc Hieu (22 years old, residing in Da Hoa village, Binh Minh commune, both in Khoai Chau district).
Based on the collected documents and evidence, the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Province Police has decided to temporarily detain Dong for organizing gambling and gambling; temporarily detain Son, Tuan, Nguyen Trung Hieu and Pham Duc Hieu for organizing gambling; and temporarily detain the remaining 10 subjects for gambling. At the same time, the police agency continues to fight and handle the subjects according to regulations.
