The working session focused on assessing the project implementation progress and resolving outstanding issues to promote the project to start construction soon.
According to a report from the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board, the work of marking and site clearance has reached 90% and is expected to be completed and the entire site handed over on June 20, 2025.
At the meeting, the leader of Bao Loc City People's Committee said that they had issued a notice of land acquisition and were finalizing a plan to develop compensation land prices. Regarding resettlement, in addition to the concentrated resettlement area under construction, Bao Loc is also making a comprehensive plan to propose non-concentrated resettlement for some households in need, affected by the project.
Bao Lam District also said that there are 2 resettlement areas available, ensuring that 66 households whose land is acquired for the expressway project can be resettled. Duc Trong District has completed the work of marking the site clearance and is urgently carrying out the work of receiving land from a number of units, preparing clean land to serve the project's groundbreaking work.

At the meeting, the Department of Agriculture and Environment also reminded localities to complete resettlement before reclaiming land in accordance with regulations and requested localities to immediately discuss with the Department if there are any problems during the implementation process to promptly make recommendations and advise on solutions.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc requested that in parallel with reviewing land prices for site clearance compensation, districts should pay attention to building resettlement land prices; promptly complete the land acquisition notification; Prepare a list of resettlement areas, including concentrated areas and dispersed resettlement areas; in particular, he requested localities, departments and branches to compile statistics on communes and wards where the expressway passes through to transfer tasks on July 1.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuc also noted that localities need to specifically and detailedly record what has been done, what has not been done, and what is still unfinished in writing to prepare for handover to the commune level in the coming time so that when the commune level receives the transfer of tasks, it will continue to implement these tasks without interruption or affecting the project progress.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also reminded departments, branches and localities to make efforts and prepare conditions to start construction of the expressway and the province will organize the groundbreaking ceremony as soon as conditions are met.
