The White House has not made any announcement about allowing Ukraine to attack deep inside Russian territory with weapons provided by the West after the meeting between US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on September 13.

According to the minutes of the meeting released by the White House, the two leaders discussed the situation in Ukraine and expressed concern over allegations that Iran and North Korea supply weapons to Moscow and China "supports Russia's defense industrial base," despite the countries ' denials, TASS news agency reported.

Regarding the Middle East, the two sides reiterated their commitment to support Israel and the need to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip as soon as possible, while condemning Houthi attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea.

President Biden and Prime Minister Starmer also discussed US-UK cooperation within the framework of the trilateral military partnership with Australia (AUKUS), as well as cooperation in the areas of economics, clean energy and advanced technology.

Meanwhile, according to AFP news agency, during a meeting at the White House, Prime Minister Starmer intended to press President Biden to support his plan to transfer British-made long-range Storm Shadow attack missiles to Ukraine to strike deeper into Russian territory.

“I think the next few weeks and months could be very important, very, very important, that we support Ukraine in this vital fight for freedom,” the British prime minister said.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Ukraine could not attack deep inside Russian territory without the help of the West because they needed reconnaissance data from satellites to carry out such an action.

According to the Kremlin boss, NATO member states are not only debating the possibility of Kiev using long-range weapons provided by the West, but are essentially deciding whether to directly participate in the Ukrainian conflict.

The leader warned that if a decision is made to "unleash" Ukraine's long-range attack on Russia, the US, NATO and its allies will be on a collision course with Moscow.

However, US President Joe Biden has downplayed the war threats from Moscow. President Biden asserted: “I don’t think much of Vladimir Putin.”
