Do Nam Son (born in 2007) will debut in a seven-member Kpop group called PICKUS early next year.
Nam Son won the opportunity when participating in the MBC show Fan Pick , ranking 4th out of 17 contestants. According to the rules, the top seven contestants were selected to form a group. Fan Pick consisted of eight episodes, hosted by Leeteuk (Super Junior), aired in Korea, Japan, and Vietnam.
In the program's announcement profile, Do Nam Son said he likes IU's song Through the Night and Vietnamese Pho. Throughout the show, he maintained a stable performance. Information about him and the group is currently updated on many Kpop forums.
On the social network Twinkple , Nam Son regularly updates his life in Korea. He said he is practicing and recording an album with the other members. Currently, his fanpage in Vietnam has 2,600 followers.

Besides Nam Son, the group includes members Ricky (23 years old, Hong Kong), Mingeun (22 years old, Korea), Kotaro (20 years old, Japan), Hyeonseung (19 years old, Korea), Yura (18 years old, Japan), Hyesung (18 years old, Korea).
On MBC , Ms. Kim Chae Won, the director of the show's production unit, said that she hopes the group will bring new appeal to the market. The group chose the name PICKUS, a combination of the words "pick" and "us", meaning that they were created by the fans.
In recent years, many Korean entertainment companies have tended to choose multinational members, with the aim of attracting more fans from other markets. Before Nam Son, Ngo Ngoc Hung (22 years old, from Yen Bai ) debuted in the idol group TEMPEST (managed by Yuehua Entertainment). Dang Hong Hai - a contestant who participated in The Voice Kids 2016 - recently signed a contract with Dongyo Entertainment in Seoul. Vu Linh Dan, runner-up of The Voice Kids 2019, also participated in the show Universe Ticket produced by SBS.
