(NLDO) - A fire broke out fiercely at a wood workshop in Thach That and quickly spread to burn down many other shops and wood workshops.
At around 8:45 p.m. on December 12, a large fire broke out in Ban Giua village, Huu Bang commune, Thach That district ( Hanoi ), destroying many wooden furniture businesses.

According to initial information, at the above time, the fire originated from a 2-storey house which was a wood workshop in Ban Giua village, quickly flared up and spread to the shops and wood workshops next door.
Immediately after discovering the fire, people quickly shouted, escaped and used on-site equipment such as water pumps to initially control the fire.
Upon receiving the news, the authorities mobilized vehicles and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. Because the material was flammable, the fire flared up strongly, making it difficult to put out the fire. By around 10 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control.
Many factories burned down
