The People's Police Academy announces the recruitment of 530 full-time university students in 2025, equivalent to last year.
This year, the People's Police Academy recruits 530 students for training in the Police Profession group (477 males, 53 females). The enrollment area in the North from Hue and beyond is divided into 4 regions (regions 1, 2, 3, 8).
- Region 1: Northern mountainous provinces (10 provinces): Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai , Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La.
- Region 2: provinces and cities in the Northern Delta and midlands (15 provinces and cities): Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh , Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh.
- Region 3: North Central provinces (6 provinces and cities): Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue.
- Region 8: North includes active duty soldiers stationed from Hue and beyond of units A09, C01, C10, C11, K01, K02.

2025 regular university enrollment quota of People's Police Academy.
The Academy notes that in case the university quota in the enrollment area is not met (according to each exam combination), this quota will be transferred to consider candidates from the remaining enrollment areas according to the Northern region, from high to low according to the enrollment regulations.
Last year, the People's Police Academy set admission scores from 18.02 to 24.65. The highest admission score was 24.65, applied to female candidates in region 3. The lowest admission score was 18.02 points, for female candidates in region 8.
Previously, the Fire Prevention University was the first police school to announce its 2025 enrollment targets. The school plans to enroll 100 students in the Northern region (90 males, 10 females), candidates from provinces and cities from Hue and beyond, and 100 students in the Southern region (90 males, 10 females), candidates from provinces and cities from Da Nang city and beyond.
In January 2025, the Ministry of Public Security issued a decision to allocate enrollment quotas for public security academies and schools in 2025. Of which, the total enrollment quota for full-time university is 2,200; for intermediate level, 300; and for second degree, 850.
Schools continue to enroll students mainly based on high school graduation exam scores combined with the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test scores. The test consists of three parts: mandatory essay, mandatory multiple choice, and optional multiple choice.
The compulsory essay section includes one social argument question with a maximum total score of 25. The compulsory multiple choice section includes 35 Math questions (35 points), 10 History questions (10 points), and 20 Foreign Language questions (15 points).
The multiple choice test has 15 questions (15 points), candidates choose one of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography. Candidates take the test in 180 minutes, total score is 100.
