Chon Thanh: 250 gifts given to people in need

BPO - On the afternoon of June 29, the Women's Union of Chon Thanh town coordinated with the Blind Association and the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin of the town to organize the program "Give love - Receive smiles" to give gifts to people in difficult circumstances in the town.

At the program, leaders of the town's associations and organizations and sponsors presented 250 gifts, worth a total of 100 million VND, to 60 victims of Agent Orange, 50 blind people, and 140 women members in difficult circumstances. All of the gifts were mobilized from the family of nun Quang Ngoc, the abbot of Trung An Pagoda.

Chon Thanh Town Women's Union in collaboration with the Blind Association and the Town Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin gave gifts to people in difficult circumstances.

The program is full of meaning, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love and support", "helping each other" of associations, organizations and philanthropists with the desire to help people in difficult circumstances reduce some of the difficulties in life.
