Fishermen's families in Tra Vinh eagerly received gifts.

The organizers visited, encouraged and presented 100 gifts to fishermen (each gift worth about 7 million VND), including: batteries, LED bulbs, medicine bags, eagle battery combo boxes, specialized rope rolls, 1 handbook "Things to know about catching seafood", 1 direct drinking water filter and a shopping voucher worth 1 million VND.

In addition, the organizing committee awarded 25 scholarships (each worth 2 million VND and a set of school supplies) to children of studious fishermen families.

The organizers hope that through specific and practical activities, the program will effectively contribute to raising fishermen's awareness of law compliance when participating in fishing at sea.

Thereby, together with the Government, ministries, agencies, units and localities, urgently remove the yellow card for Vietnamese seafood according to the action plan issued by the Prime Minister .

The program also hopes to be a bridge for the social community to join hands to support fishermen to stay at sea with peace of mind, affirm and preserve the sovereignty of the country's sea and islands.
