The report at the conference said that commercial electricity in the first 6 months of 2024 reached 1,442.18 million kWh, an increase of 19.03% over the same period in 2023 and reaching 52.63% of the NPC's 2024 plan. Electricity loss decreased to 2.15%, 0.34% lower than the same period last year and 0.07% lower than the annual plan. PC Lao Cai also developed 3,860 more customers, bringing the total number of customers buying electricity by the end of June 2024 to 216,329. In the first 6 months of the year, the company inspected 34,667 times of electricity use, detected 4 cases of electricity theft and 198 cases of violations of electricity prices.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of Lao Cai Electricity Company, requested departments, divisions and units to proactively review the targets set at the beginning of the year and make a plan to implement them in the last 6 months of the year to ensure the completion of the company's production and business activities.
Regarding technical operations, the Director of Lao Cai PC requested units to urgently develop plans to overcome existing problems on the grid and focus on strengthening operational management. In the business field, the Director commended Lao Cai City Electricity and Sa Pa Town Electricity for promptly detecting and preventing electricity theft, and requested continued review and inspection of customers' electricity usage, control of electricity loss and increase the remote measurement rate...
