Department of Social Policy trains software transfer

On July 31, at Nursing Unit 295 (Political Department of Military Region 3), authorized by the Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the Department of Social Policy organized a training conference on software transfer under the Project of building an information technology system in the management of social insurance (SI), health insurance (HI), phase 1.

Colonel Phan Vu Toan, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Policy, chaired the conference. Also attending were Colonel Tran Ngoc Yen, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 3 and representatives commanding several agencies of the Military Region.

The training was attended by more than 330 officers and employees from 12 agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense and representatives of 2 hospitals and 21 clinics located in Military Region 3, providing health insurance examination and treatment with the Military Social Insurance.

During the one-day period, delegates studied and researched two topics, including transferring centralized social insurance and health insurance management software and data connection with ASMS level 3, 4, 5 software; transferring training on health insurance examination and treatment cost management software and health insurance appraisal reception portal. Organizing training on software transfer is a practical activity to gradually standardize business processes, unify approaches and use of new technology systems throughout the army.

Through the conference, the staff directly performing social insurance and health insurance work at the units will improve their capacity and become proficient in operating the software, thereby contributing to promoting the digital transformation process of the social policy sector in accordance with the direction of the Government and the Ministry of National Defense.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Phan Vu Toan affirmed the role and significance of the Project on building an information technology system for managing social insurance and health insurance, phase 1, chaired and implemented by the Department of Social Policy. The Deputy Director requested that the officers participating in the training need to raise their sense of discipline, actively and proactively study and research, grasp the basic contents; promptly exchange knowledge, experience, methods, creative ways of doing things, and effective models of agencies and units; after the conference, continue to study and creatively apply the contents learned in the training class into practice;...
