On the afternoon of October 30, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony to announce the decision on the transfer and appointment of officials at the Ministry's headquarters. Along with handing over the decision to appoint People's Artist Xuan Bac as Director of the Department of Performing Arts, the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also transferred and changed the working positions of officials under the management of the Party Committee in 2024.
Mr. Dang Tran Cuong holds the position of Director of the Department of Cinema.
Accordingly, Mr. Dang Tran Cuong was appointed as Director of the Cinema Department to replace Mr. Vi Kien Thanh who has reached retirement age. Before being assigned the responsibility of leading the cinema industry, Mr. Dang Tran Cuong was Director of the Vietnam Sports and Tourism Cinema Center.
Ms. Thu Ha was transferred to the Training Department.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - daughter of People's Artist Hai Ninh was transferred from the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Cinema to Deputy Director of the Department of Training under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
